Shirley has been a working medium for the past twenty nine Years. Her earliest memory of seeing spirit (ghosts) was around the age of three when a male and a female spirit would appear in her bedroom on some nights, they would just stand at the bottom of my bed smiling at me she recalls and then disappear I started to hide under my covers until morning.

In 2005 Shirley was shown a photograph of grandfather from her mothers side of the family she recognized that this was the gentleman that would come to see her on those nights. and she also recalls they their visit's seem to be when times where bad in her life,( the lady has yet to be identified).

My work as a medium means I am called out to investigate haunted buildings, homes and other places and a part of that is to help the spirit (ghosts )

I can't remember the exact age that I started seeing spirit but I know it was at a very early age. would be aware of spirit being there and at night I would feel them around me not sure of who? but I do remember feeling safe knowing they were looking after me, later while raising a family I would see them but only when I needed guidance or help and then I would see a long departed loved one.

When my family grew and left home (if they ever leave ) I decided to go for a reading I felt I needed to develop my of awareness of spirit, the reading confirmed this and I was invited to join Shirley circle I have never looked back gaining my confidence was the difficult bit but now, every time I communicate with spirit I receive positive feedback so I know I'm doing my job well.

"I have always had a fascination for ghosts and the paranormal, as a child I was always aware of a presence in my room, but would never dare to open my eyes to see who it was.

When I was sixteen and in hospital I awoke to feel someone holding my hand but no one was there, I brushed my hand and it went away.

Later I had the same feeling on awaking but this time someone was cupping my face I ran my hand over my face and again the feeling disappeared.

A few years ago I was led by my guides to a circle to develop my gift and since sitting on Shirley's circle where I have learnt how to use my gift as a medium and where I discovered my gift of psychic art.

Now I also know that it was my guides that stroked my hand and cupped my face it was their touch of comfort that I felt.

Ever since I was a young girl I have always been interested in spirits, ghosts etc. it all started when I was eight years of age, we lived in a Victorian terrace house in the village of Mundesley Norfolk it was there that I saw my first ghost. This was confirmed when I spoke to my aunt I told her that I had seen a lady coming out of the bathroom and instead of walking she floated towards me, I described to my aunt in detail the features of the lady and the way she was dressed, My aunt started smiling and told me that she and my mum had been discussing the same thing earlier in the day while I had been out at school, my mum had described exactly the same lady wearing the same outfit and who seem to be floating, coming from the bathroom as myself. During my teens and early twenties I would have dreams of premonition things that were to come, they only made sense to me after they had happened
